New Metabolism
Metabolism is a post-war Japanese architectural movement that fused ideas about architectural megastructures with those of organic biological growth. New Metabolism is a future smart book and time capsule. The book brings the past and the present to the future. My installation references one of the iconic metabolism buildings and celebrates the movement in an interactive collage of historic and culturally relevant imagery.
